At 10:30 AM this morning, four members and one fire engine from the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety deployed to the Caldor Fire as it bears down on Lake Tahoe. Captain David Sutter, Engineer Joe Huss, Engineer Zach Morrow and Firefighter David Horton staffed a Type 1 Engine and reported to Sacramento for their assignment.
The Rohnert Park engine and crew will be a part of a six engine team led by a Task Force Leader. Please keep all of the first responders in your thoughts as they battle a very dangerous and destructive fire.
