Oakland, CA – The Oakland Police Department is requesting assistance from our community and media in locating missing person, Huo Lei.

Lei was last seen on September 1st, 2021, around 5:00 PM, in the 1200 block of Center Street. Lei’s possible destination was Chinatown.

Lei is described as an Asian male, 86-years-old, 5’02”, 135 pounds, gray hair, and brown eyes. Lei is in good physical and mental condition, however, is said to be a little forgetful at times. Lei was last seen wearing a tan baseball hat, gray long-sleeve shirt, black pants, and black shoes.

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lei is asked to contact the Oakland Police Department, Missing Persons Unit, at (510) 238-3641.
