All City of Waukee buildings, including the Waukee Public Library, will be closed Monday, Sept. 6 in observance of Labor Day. The Waukee City Council will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 5:30 p.m. instead of the usual Monday meeting, due to the holiday. 

There will be no garbage, recycling or yard waste collection on Labor Day for City/ASI customers. Yard waste will be collected on Tuesday, Sept. 7, and garbage and recycling collection will run on a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
