RRA The Flood Warning continues for the Potomac River at Shepherdstown.
* Until late tomorrow morning.
* At 8:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 14.4 feet, or 0.6 feet below flood stage.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 15.4 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet, River Road is completely flooded in low spots between Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry. Significant portions of the C&O Canal towpath are flooded between McMahons Mill and Dam Number Four.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.5 feet on 03/07/1929.
