Advisory

Cranbury OEM seeking storm damage assessment from Tropical Storm Ida. [email protected]

Dear Residents,

Cranbury OEM is gathering information for any loss or damages suffered in the wake of Tropical Storm Ida that passed through our town on Wednesday, September 1st.  Based upon the extensive damage and loss of life from Ida, Gov. Murphy declared a State of Emergency.  NJOEM Recovery Bureau will have Public Assistance staff out at the Counties to support damage assessments immediately. They will be working directly with NJOEM ERB Reps and your County OEM staff.

Individual Assistance damage assessments start with the initial assessments provided by local and county OEM's and can lead to a joint FEMA-State-SBA assessment to validate all initially reported damages.

This alert is to obtain information for Ida specifically.  Please do not respond if you had replied with damage from Henri.  The assessment of this storm is separate from Henri, and the two weather events are viewed distinctly.

Sincerely,

Michael J. Owens
Chief of Police / OEM Coordinator

Please send damage report to [email protected]
