Residents not receiving Nixle notifications via Text messages. 
Some residents expressed concerns regarding no longer receiving our Nixles via text message. We looked into this and discovered that Nixle/Everbridge implemented "Smartpath," which prioritizes messages to be sent to a subscriber's email or the Everbridge mobile app instead of text messages when an email is associated with your account.
The easiest way to get Nixle notifications on your cell phone is to download and install the Everbridge app. You can download the app from the Apple App Store & Google Play Store.
