On Saturday, September 4, 2021 at approximately 0025 hours, the Readington Township Police observed Jane M. Ostroff-Lin (43) driving west on Route 22 in the east bound lanes. Patrol stopped this vehicle on Rt. 523 near Central Ave. and observed Ostroff-Lin was driving while intoxicated. Ostroff-Lin failed the officers field sobriety tests and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Ostroff-Lin was issued a motor vehicle summons for driving while intoxicated, careless driving, driving the wrong way on one way street and refusal to submit to breath test. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guility in a court of law.
