The Township of Cranford has contracted with Messercola Excavating to supplement Cranford's Department of Public Works and bring in heavy equipment/containers to efficiently remove the storm debris from curbs.
Debris removal will begin the morning of 09/07/2021 in the area of Springfield/Orange.
Expect delays in traffic due to road closures. Roadways may be closed by police to facilitate pick-ups.
The debris pick-up priority roadways are major arteries and school routes, followed by surrounding streets. Residents who sustained any water damage as a result of the storm, no matter their location, may put debris curbside for pick-up.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
DO NOT BLOCK SIDEWALKS, ROADWAYS, OR DRIVEWAYS WITH DEBRIS.
AIM TO PLACE DEBRIS SEPARATE/FAR FROM DISABLED MOTOR VEHICLES TO ALLOW HEAVY EQUIPMENT TO BE USED.
