FEMA Disaster Relief is now available
September 6, 2021, President Joe Biden Jr. has approved the New Jersey Disaster Declaration from Tropical Storm Ida. This action makes FEMA Individual Assistance funding available to those affected in Hunterdon County.
Before applying for FEMA Individual Assistance funding, you are encouraged to first photograph and document in detail all damages sustained followed by contacting your insurance company to report those damages.
Residents and business owners who sustained losses can begin applying for assistance by registering online at http://www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA(3362) or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired. The toll-free telephone numbers will operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (local time) seven days a week until further notice.
Federal assistance is available to eligible individuals and families affected by this disaster
