INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, Prohibited Person in Possession of Ammunition
LOCATION: 15200 Block of Seneca Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Ladale Rogers, 34-year-old resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On September 06, 2021, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 15200 block of Seneca Road for a man with a gun.
The suspect, Ladale Rogers, was located and refused to comply with deputies commands leading the deputies on a foot pursuit. Rodgers was taken into custody a short time later. While searching the area, deputies located a handgun Rogers disposed of during the foot pursuit.
During the foot pursuit, a deputy suffered a minor injury and received treatment at a local hospital.
Rogers was transported and booked at High Desert Detention Center for 29800(A)(1)- Felon in Possession of a Firearm, 246.3(A)- Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, 30305(A)(1)- Prohibited Person in Possession of Ammunition.
