Wednesday, September 1, 2021
11:42 AM: Officer Soto responded to investigate a report of a robbery that occurred in the 36000 block of Newark Blvd. Loss was a purse.

7:28 PM: Officers responded to a report of trespassing in the 7000 block of Mowry Ave. Officers made contact with a 64-year old male out of Hayward and a 57-year old female out of Hayward. The female had an active warrant. She was cited and released.

7:48 PM: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 5800 block of Abbington Ct. Officers made contact and arrested a 22-year old female for violating her probation terms. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

10:31 PM: While preforming a routine traffic enforcement stop, officers made contact with a 30-year old male out of El Sobrante and a 34-year old female out of El Sobrante in the area of Thornton Ave and Ruschin Dr. The male subject was arrested for driving without a license, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The female subject was arrested for an active warrant, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were booked at Santa Rita Jail.


Thursday, September 2, 2021
1:03 PM: Officer Soto responded to a report of a disturbance in the 7000 block of Thornton Ave. Upon arrival, Officer Soto made contact and arrested a 29-year old male for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

5:52 PM: Officer Horst responded to a report of a carjacking that occurred in the 5000 block of Newpark Plaza. No weapons were involved. Officers are investigating this incident.

9:44 PM: While on patrol in the area of Overlake Pl and Gateway Blvd, Officer Pacheco on-viewed a vehicle driving recklessly doing “donuts” without regard for the safety of people or property nearby. Officer Pacheco conducted a traffic enforcement stop and made contact and arrested a 39-year old male out of Fremont for reckless driving. He was cited and released. The vehicle was impounded for a 30-day hold.

11:07 PM: While on patrol, Officer Loiser observed a subject that appeared to be intoxicated get into a vehicle and start the engine. Officer Loiser conducted a pedestrian stop on a 23-year old male out of Oxnard. The subject was arrested for being too inebriated to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
 

Friday, September 3, 2021
5:38 PM: Officer Soto responded a report of a battery that had occurred in the 35000 block of Dumbarton Ct. Officer Soto is investigating.

6:13 PM: While conducting an follow up on another case, Officer Johnson heard a nearby vehicle collision. Officer Johnson went to investigate and discovered a vehicle collision that occurred in the area of Filbert St and the railroad tracks. Officer Herrera responded to assist and ultimately arrested a 56-year old male out of Modesto for DUI and the involved vehicle was towed.  While investigating the incident, a 55-year old male out of Milpitas arrived on scene and was ultimately arrested for obstructing a public officer and being too inebriated to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
 
9:23 PM: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision in the area of Cedar Blvd and Dupont Ave. Officer Quinonez made contact and arrested a 57-year old male out of Fremont for DUI and driving without a license. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
 
Saturday, September 4, 2021
12:42 AM: Officers responded to report of an unknown subject breaking business windows in the 7000 block of Central Ave. Officers arrived on scene to find multiple shattered windows and fresh graffiti. Officers located a 37-year old male out of Newark nearby with spray paint in his possession. Officers obtained a statement from the subject and he was released. Incident is still being investigated.

12:45 AM:  During a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Central Ave and Blacow Rd, Officer Slavazza made contact and arrested a 43-year old male out of Fremont for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.

2:04 AM:  Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 34000 block of Newark Blvd. Upon arrival, officers made contact and arrested a 21-year old male out of Los Banos for multiple arrest warrants. He was issued new court dates and released.
