I write to share a few brief updates.
Please note that bulk and organics pickup today is taking longer than expected, due to the significant amount of bulk garbage requiring disposal and delays at the waste transfer site. Anything that’s not picked up tonight will be picked up tomorrow.
Additionally, we are adding a Village-wide pickup for white goods (appliances) this Friday, September 10th. There is no need to wait until Thursday night to place appliances curbside. If it needs disposal, place it curbside whenever you can and we’ll take care of it on Friday.
As a final note, please be advised that scattered thunderstorms and heavy downpours are possible tonight into early morning tomorrow. This is not expected to be as severe as last week’s storm, but flash flooding is still possible. If you require support, please don’t hesitate to call the Pelham Police Department at (914) 738-2000. We are ready to respond to any emergency that may arise.
