“The past year and a half has been challenging for everyone when it comes to contending with the pandemic,” acknowledges Sheriff Bill Ayub, he continued, “We cannot let our guard down when it comes to preparedness during these difficult times.  Disaster could strike at any moment and we must remain vigilant and prepared.”

Each of the workshops will feature opening remarks from Sheriff Bill Ayub and County Executive Officer Mike Powers.  Guest panelists from the cities of Oxnard, Camarillo and Simi Valley will be featured alongside local leaders and preparedness experts from the Ventura County Fire Department, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services and Ventura County Executive Office.  Panelists will discuss and answer questions about coordination between local and county-level emergency response and provide updates on current planning efforts.
