The Boil Water Advisory has been lifted. Water conservation advisory remains in effect.
The boil water advisory for the Town of East Greenbush has been lifted following the final testing this morning. The Boil Water Advisory was issued as a precaution due to the water main break that occurred on Monday. These advisories require that the water is tested at a minimum of two times over 48 hours with negative results over for each test to lift the advisory. The water supply has tested negative throughout this advisory.
Due to the water main break, the Town's water supply reached low levels, and we are working on replenishing the supply. As a result, the Water Conservation Advisory remains in effect until further notice.
Water conservation advisories mean to limit the use of water that you are using. For example, please do not use sprinkler systems or fill a pool. Limit the amount of laundry and dishes that you do at this time.
Instructions:
Boil Water Advisory has been lifted as of 9AM on 9/9/2021. Water Conservation remains in effect at this time.
