August 30th
Armed Robbery (Estes) (Suspect Arrested)
8900 block Santa Monica Blvd
08/30/2021 @ 1432. A man removed several food items from display areas and was asked by security to pay for the items. The suspect then removed a pair of scissors from a display and removed them from the package and attempted to stab the victim. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #03604
 
Strong Arm Robbery
9200 block Sunset Blvd
08/30/2021 @ 2145. A woman was involved in a dispute with several members of her dinner party about who was going to pay the bill. The victim was shoved to the ground and punched in the face and body several times by three suspects and her purse was taken. #03609

7900 block Willoughby Avenue
08/30/2021 @ 2310-0530. An unknown suspect removed clothing and a box containing medical supplies from the backseat. No sign of forced entry. #03615

08/30/2021 @ 2100-2345. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and removed a backpack containing surgical loupes, headlamp, dental hands, and phone chargers from the trunk. #03631

Strong Arm Robbery (Attempt) (Suspect Arrested)
9000 block Beverly Blvd
08/31/2021 @ 1418. A woman was eating inside the location when the suspect began talking to herself and acting erratically. The victim decided to leave and was confronted outside by the suspect. The suspect demanded money and a short struggle ensued, during which the suspect tried to pull victim’s purse from her arm but was unsuccessful. The suspect fled the area on foot and was located and arrested by responding deputies. #03625

8900 block Sunset Blvd
08/31/2021 @ 0012. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and the rear windshield and removed a laptop computer, cologne, and a Gucci bag from the passenger’s side floorboard. The suspect also removed one pair of shoes from the trunk. #03611

09/01/2021 @ 1900-2020. An unknown suspect removed a Segway scooter that was left unsecured near the bike rack on the east side of the building. #03645

09/02/2021 @ 2355. An unknown suspect removed the catalytic converter from a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was parked on the street. #03708

09/02/2021 @ 0435. A man forced the office door open to gain access and was confronted inside by an employee. The suspect fled the area on foot. #03648

09/03/2021 @ 1030-1050. An unknown suspect removed a tote bag that was left unattended on top of a vehicle. The bag contained a cell phone and IPad. #03677

09/04/2021 @ 0130. A man was stabbed in the back by an unknown suspect. The victim was uncooperative and refused to discuss what happened. #03689

09/04/2021 @ 0135. A man was punched on the back of his head by the suspect during a fight that took place on the sidewalk. The victim was uncooperative. #03690

09/05/2021 @ 2220. A man threw a metal crowd control barrier at the victim after his friend was escorted from the club for fighting. The victim suffered a cut to her head. #03721
