CSAH 37 Closure for Relocation of Willkommen Sign. 
Weather dependent, west-bound traffic into New Ulm via CSAH 37 (20th South Street) off of HWY 14 will be closed on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The west-bound traffic closure is to allow for the set up of a crane to remove the Willkommen Sign from its current location to its new home at the old Putting Green site in New Ulm. East-bound traffic out of New Ulm on CSAH 37 should not be affected but motorists are advised to be cautious while driving through the construction zone.
Motorists coming into New Ulm are advised to utilize HWY 14/15 (7th North Street) during the closure period.
The sign is required to be moved in advance of the Mn/DOT HWY 14 Expansion project between Nicollet and New Ulm that is scheduled to begin in spring of 2022.
