INCIDENT: Elder Abuse
LOCATION: 10000 Block of Claremont Avenue, Bloomington
SUSPECT(S): Modesto Banuelos, age 45, a resident of Bloomington
VICTIM(S): 74-year-old female
SUMMARY: On Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 10:36 A.M., Fontana deputies responded to a subject disturbance. The reporting party told dispatch a family member assaulted their grandmother and was burning items at the residence. Deputies determined Modesto Banuelos, age 45, a resident of Bloomington, spat on the 74-year-old victim, pushed her, and lit items in the yard on fire. The victim was not injured. Banuelos was located and arrested without incident. He was later booked into Central Detention Center for elder abuse.
