A Probation Search Yields Stolen Property From Several Victims in Three Counties; Laura Quezada Arrested

INCIDENT: PC 487 / Grand Theft, PC 496(A) / Possession of Stolen Property, PC 530.5 / Identity Theft
LOCATION: 12800 Block of Yorba Avenue, City of Chino
SUSPECT(S): Laura Quezada, 32-years-old, Resident of Chino
VICTIM(S): Confidential, Resident(s) of San Bernardino, Los Angeles and Orange Counties
SUMMARY: On June 23, 2021, the victim's Tesla was broken into, while parked in a driveway, and approximately $14,000 in property was stolen from inside. Video surveillance captured the incident and a Toyota Scion XB vehicle was determined to be involved. Detectives from the Chino Hills Station obtained evidence of Laura Quezada's involvement in the burglary. A records check revealed Quezada was on felony probation for theft related charges in Los Angeles County.
On September 10, 2021, detectives conducted a probation search at Quezada's residence and located dozens of stolen items; including mail, credit cards, tools, golf clubs, computers, and autographed sports memorabilia. The stolen property in Quezada's residence originated from multiple victims in three counties. Victims were located in San Bernardino, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties. Cities where victims reside include: Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, La Habra, Malibu, and Beverly Hills.
Quezada was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for the above-mentioned charges.
