FREE NARCAN TRAINING 
The Family Center of Grosse Pointe/Harper Woods and Families Against Narcotics are planning a community Narcan Training event Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium at WCCCD 19305 Vernier, Harper Woods.
The event is free.
We hope to get many Narcan kits into our communities and show that Narcan is easy to administer, and just like CPR, everyone can and should learn how to use it.
The training will also cover the following:
Training Objectives:
*Recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and identify its causes and risks
*Know the steps to follow when encountering an opioid overdose
*Understand administration of naloxone products, including “Good Samaritan” protection law
