The Muskegon Police Department is seeing an increase in thefts from motor vehicles. Most items are being taken from unlocked vehicles during the evening and overnight. To prevent theft from your vehicle, do the following:
-Lock your doors
-Leave your porch lights on and park in well-lit areas
-Take out all valuables
-Report suspicious activity to 911
