* At 903 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Long Valley, or 14 miles west of Morristown, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
* Locations impacted include... Morristown, Dover, Madison, Hopatcong, Florham Park, East Hanover, Hackettstown, Chatham, Boonton, Wharton, Rockaway, Morris Plains, Mount Arlington, Mendham, Mountain Lakes, High Bridge, Stanhope, Netcong, Peapack And Gladstone and Glen Gardner. This includes the following highways... Interstate 80 in New Jersey near mile marker 20, and between mile markers 22 and 48. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 25 and 45.
