The 39th Annual Arsenal City 5k Run begins in one hour (9:30am). There will be local road closures along the race route that will most likely effect your travel. Please be prepared to seek alternate routes. Roads will be re-opened around 12pm today.

The race route is the same as previous years. You can visit www.arsenal5k.com to view the race route as well as other information surrounding this family-friendly event.

Road Closures:

• Broadway from 16th Street to 1st Street
• 3rd Ave from Broadway (Woodburning Warehouse) to 1st Street (Xtra Mart)
• 1st Street from 2nd Avenue to Broadway

You are encouraged to use I-787 or Rt 155/Lincoln Ave as a detour during this event. Police Officers and volunteers will be posted along the race route to assist motorists.
