Brandon Crosby Arrested for Evading Police; Colliding with other Motorist

INCIDENT: Evading a Peace Officer with Disregard for Safety
LOCATION: 16900 Block of Jasmine Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Brandon Crosby, 42-years-old, resident of Victorville
SUMMARY:
On September 13, 2021, deputies responded to the area of Jasmine Street in response to an unwanted subject in the 16900 block of Jasmine Street.
Upon deputies' arrival, the driver, later identified as Brandon Crosby, was observed in his vehicle leaving the scene. When deputies attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, Crosby failed to yield, and a pursuit ensued. Crosby led deputies on an approximate 8-mile pursuit, at a high rate of speed. Crosby collided with multiple occupied vehicles traveling on the roadway. Crosby fled the vehicle on foot and was taken into custody a short time later. Crosby did not sustain any injuries but was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
Crosby was arrested without incident and was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for PC 2800.2(A)- Evading a Peace Officer with Disregard for Safety.
