INCIDENT: Battery on a Person
LOCATION: 200 Block of J Street
SUSPECT(S): Marcos Hernandez, Age 26, Resident of Highland, Ca.
VICTIM(S): CONFIDENTIAL
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at approximately 9:40 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department were dispatched to the 200 block of J Street for a report of a battery that occurred at the Jack in the Box restaurant.
During the investigation it was determined the suspect, Marcos Hernandez, was in the drive-thru at Jack in the Box and was excessively honking his horn and being belligerent with employees. Hernandez was refused service and asked to leave. Hernandez exited the vehicle and began kicking the back door of the business. When the victim opened the door, Hernandez pushed the victim and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, Hernandez struck the victim in the face causing a laceration, and fled the location.
Hernandez was located by deputies a short time later, and was arrested for PC242, Battery on a Person. Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Needles Jail. Hernandez was issued a citation and released with a pending court date.
