| PHONE SERVICE RESTORED: Phone service has been fully restored and all Town of Fairfield Department’s including Police and Fire can now receive inbound phone calls on routine phone lines. There may still be isolated residual issues with AT&T mobile phones. If you continue to experience issues contacting us, please call your mobile carrier. At approximately 5PM on Tuesday, September 14th, the Town of Fairfield stopped receiving inbound telephone calls. The Town’s telephone service provider, Frontier, reported a significant service issue affecting service throughout the State. That issue has since been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. Information on contacting Town Departments can be found at www.fairfieldct.org or by calling 203-256-3000. The Fire Department is available at 203-254-4700. The Police Department can be contacted at 203-254-4800 for routine business and non-emergency calls. Dial 911 in an Emergency. |
