*UPDATE* LASD Stabbing Death Investigation, 11600 blk San Vicente Bl, uninc LA
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a male, Black adult that occurred on the 11600 block of San Vicente Boulevard, unincorporated Los Angeles.
Detectives have learned that at approximately 6:40 a.m., on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the location regarding a domestic violence call for service.
Upon their arrival, deputies located the victim suffering from at least one stab wound to his upper torso. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect was involved in a dispute with his girlfriend when the victim intervened and, in doing so, was stabbed.
The suspect, a male Hispanic adult, was detained at the scene and subsequently transported to a local hospital for a medical clearance for booking.
No weapon has been recovered.
The female was not injured.
The incident solely involves the transient population surrounding the location.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
