The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of September 05, 2021– September 11, 2021.        
 
September 05, 2021

• Assault with a deadly weapon (Firearm):

Buena Vista Street and Duarte Road. The victims were seated at a bus stop at the location, when a newer four door black sedan parked alongside them. The front seat passenger of the vehicle, a male white adult wearing a red baseball hat and a black shirt made a statement regarding gangs (NFD). The suspect produced a chrome handgun and shot at the victims. The vehicle, driven by a male Hispanic adult fled the scene. Both victims were transported to local hospitals where they were treated for a single gunshot wound. One 22 caliber casing recovered from the scene.  

• Grand Theft Auto:

2000 Block of Buena Vista Street. The victim’s 2020 KIA Sportage was stolen from the location.  Vehicle recovered, no video surveillance.
 
September 06, 2021

• No significant activity. 

September 07, 2021

• Petty Theft:

3100 Block of Royal Oaks drive. Victim reported suspect(s) unknown stole a panel from the bumper to his 2018 Audi Q3. Victim was unsure how much the missing part was valued at. No video surveillance.
 
September 08, 2021

• Grand Theft:

914 Buena Vista Street. Victim reported her catalytic converter was stolen from her Toyota Sequoia by suspect(s) unknown. Loss was approximately $1,500 for the catalytic converter.  
 
September 09, 2021.  

• No significant activity.   

September 10, 2021

• Burglary (Vehicle):

2600 Block of Royal Oaks Drive.  Suspect(s) unknown broke the rear driver side window to the victims 2013 Nissan Rogue and stole her purse which was on the rear floor of her vehicle. Loss approximately $2,700.  No surveillance available.
 
September 11, 2021
