Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic - October 2

Registration is required for the free, drive through rabies clinic. To register please use this link.  Be advised that because of the flooding at our Public Works facility, the location for the clinic has moved to Central Park - Dave Nevius Way Parking Lot.  A cat license application can be obtained by clicking here.




Cat License Notice

September is cat license renewal month. All cats seven months and older must be licensed by September 30, 2021. For your convenience, a cat license application can be obtained by clicking here. For questions or additional information about cat licenses, please call the Clerk's office at (609) 844-7000.





2021 Flu Clinics

The Lawrence Township Health Department will be hosting two drive through flu clinics. For more details see the attached flyer.



 

Veterans Park Drainage Project Set to Begin

Starting on September 15th the Township will be completing drainage improvements throughout Veteran’s Park.  The playground area will be closed and access to the lawn areas inside the walking path will be limited.  We anticipate this work to be completed within 45 days.  If you have any questions or concerns about the construction activities please contact the Engineering Office at (609) 844-7087.

The area continues to be infested by the invasive which continues to damage plants and trees in the area. For more information, including how to report them, see the attached.








Public Works Facility

Just a reminder that the Lawrence Township Public Works Facility on Bakers Basin Road is still recovering from damage due to flooding conditions from Tropical Storm IDA.  All our Public Works personel are working hard to clean up the building and remediate the damages, but it will take some time.   If you need assistance from the Public Works Department, we ask for your understanding and patience as they all work hard to get back up and running to serve the residents of the Township.

NJ Vaccine Call Center

The State has set up a hotline to register for the vaccine - call 855-568-0545 - Operators are available to assist individuals register for the COVID vaccine.

 
 
 
 
Bulk Waste Pick-Up

Bulk waste will be picked up on your regular collection day. Bulk waste consists of items to be discarded which are too large to fit into your new cart. Mattresses must be wrapped. The exceptions are "white goods" such as washers, dryers and refrigerators and bulky material too large to fit in the "hopper" of any vehicle used for collection. Regulations for Bulky Waste pickup can be found on the this flyer.

Brush Pick-Up By Zone Is Underway
The week of September 20 is Zone 3 for brush pick up.
Guidelines must be followed for placing brush out for pick-up.
You may click here for a quick description of the regulations.

Only those residents in this zone should be placing brush in the roadway.

All commercial landscapers shall be registered annually with the Township of Lawrence by March 31st.
 



Ecological Facility Is Open
The Ecological Facility is open, Monday through Friday and Saturday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.  Lawrence and Princeton residents only, NO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES until further notice.  Site employees will manage social distancing rules.

The Ecological Facility is now open on Saturdays.
