On Thursday, September 16, 2021 at approximately 6:57 pm, while Officer Slavazza and Officer Riddles were conducting DUI enforcement, they initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Bluebell Dr and Rockrose Dr. Officers made contact with the driver, a 22-year old male out of Salinas. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license, registration nor insurance for the vehicle. The vehicle was towed. ⠀

During an inventory of the vehicle two firearms, an extended magazine, as well as multiple controlled substances was revealed. ⠀

The subject was ultimately arrested for driving without a license, concealing a weapon in a vehicle, possession of controlled substance while armed, possession of an undetectable firearm, possession of controlled substance for sale, and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail. ⠀
