* The potential exists for thunderstorms today. Brief heavy rainfall and isolated wind gusts to 40 mph will be possible.
* A slow moving frontal system and developing area of strong low pressure will bring the potential for heavy rainfall Tuesday afternoon through Thursday. The potential exists for rainfall rates to exceed 1 inch per hour during this timeframe. Total rainfall of 2 to 4 inches will be possible by the end of the event Thursday. A Flash Flood Watch or Flood Watch may eventually be needed.
