Notice of Mosquito Spraying in Knowlton tonight, September 22, 2021
NOTICE OF MOSQUITO SPRAYING
The Warren County Mosquito Control Commission is planning to perform a limited, targeted adult mosquito treatment in Knowlton Township on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, between the hours of 6:45 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The following areas will be targeted:
Decatur Street, State Highway 94, Mount Pleasant Road, Ivy Lane, Hainesburg River Road, Brands Road, Cook Road, Eisenhower Road, Walnut Valley Rd.
An adult mosquito insecticide will be sprayed by Ultra-low volume (ULV) truck-mounted sprayer. The product being applied is: Zenivex E4 (EPA Reg # 2724-807) Active Ingredient Etofenprox or Fyfanon ULV (EPA Reg #279-3539) Active Ingredient malathion
Trucks are clearly marked as mosquito control vehicles. Applications are limited and targeted to areas of high populations of nuisance and West Nile virus positive mosquitoes.
