Flash Flood Watch, Thurs, 9/23 to Fri, 9/24 
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for our area for today, Thursday, September 23rd, 4:00 PM to Friday, September 24th, 9:00 AM.
A period of heavy showers and embedded thunderstorms is expected with the approach of a cold front this afternoon into Friday morning. A widespread 1 to 2 inches of rain are likely with locally higher amounts possible. The rainfall combined with wet antecedent conditions in a short period of time will lead to increased potential for flash flooding. Scattered flash flooding of urban and poor drainage areas is possible.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
