East Lansing High School Homecoming Parade and Street Closures
EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing High School (ELHS) Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, Sept. 24, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Motorists are advised that there will be temporary road closures along the parade route. Streets will be closed at 5:30 p.m. and will re-open to traffic by approximately 6:30 p.m. The parade will begin at ELHS and go from Old Hickory Lane south to Burcham Drive; west on Burcham Drive to M.A.C. Avenue; south on M.AC. Avenue to Albert Avenue; east on Albert Avenue to Bailey Street; and north on Bailey Street back to Burcham Drive; west on Burcham Drive to Old Hickory Drive and back to the high school.
The East Lansing Police Department will be assisting with the street closures to ensure a safe school celebration. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes during the temporary closures.
The parade will be followed by the Homecoming football game at ELHS. The ELHS Trojans and the Lansing Everett High School Vikings will face off at 7 p.m. Go Trojans!
