Winter Weather Advisory until 01:00PM

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulation of 6 to 12 inches.

* WHERE...Anchorage Hillside and higher elevations of South Fork Eagle River.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM AKDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wet snow will continue across the Anchorage Hillside and higher elevations of Eagle River into this afternoon. Rain or a rain/snow mix is expected for lower elevations across the Anchorage Bowl. Wet snow is expected to continue across the lower elevations through this morning before changing back to rain or a rain/snow mix by afternoon. 1 to 3 inches of wet snow is possible for east Anchorage, Eagle River with highest amounts toward Eagle River. Little to no accumulation is expected across west Anchorage.
