Laborer- Township of Byram, Sussex County- Department of Public Works- Is seeking a full-time laborer for the department of public works.

Duties include but not limited to; maintenance, grass cutting, storm basin maintenance, road repair, snow removal. Applicant should be able to perform manual labor under all weather conditions and be able to understand oral and written instruction. Some mandatory overtime will be required. CDL class B with air brake endorsement preferred or must obtain within a year.
 
Preference will be given to Township residents, previous municipal experience and/or landscaping experience. The position is a non-competitive civil service position with a starting salary of $18.02 per hour and health benefits. Byram Township reserves the right to hire before announcement closing period.
