LOCATION: Elm Avenue / Ceres Avenue, unincorporated Fontana
SUSPECT(S): Jaspal Singh, age 33, a transient known to frequent Fontana
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Friday, September 24, 2021, Sheriff’s Dispatch received several calls of a nude male who was touching his genitals in public. Deputies found the subject, who was partially nude, in a public place and attempted to detain him. Singh refused to comply with commands and struggled with deputies who attempted to arrest him. Singh was eventually arrested and transported to the West Valley Detention Center. Singh initially provided a false name and was later identified at the jail, where he was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was booked into jail for the above violations.
