Incident: Vehicle pursuit involving DUI driver

Suspect: Peter Cedillo-Moredia, 18 year old resident of Fontana
Information:
On Thursday 09/23/21, at approximately 10:00 PM officers from the Rialto Police Department initiated a vehicle pursuit of a suspected DUI driver in the 900 block of W. Foothill Blvd. At the termination of the pursuit the suspect crashed his vehicle into several parked vehicles, as well as a Rialto PD patrol unit. As a result of the collision one officer suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect was taken into custody without incident, and later booked into the West Valley Detention Center on charges of VC 23153(g)- DUI drugs and alcohol, VC 2800.2 (a)- Felony evading, VC 12500(a)- Unlicensed driver, H&S 11377(a)- possession of Methamphetamine, and six counts of VC 20002(a)- Hit and run with a bail amount of $100,000.
