INCIDENT: Failure to Yield/Vehicle Burglary
LOCATION: 3100 Chino Hills Parkway, Chino Hills
SUSPECT(S): Stephane Padilla Lechuga, 20-year-old resident of La Puente
Daniel Payan, 18-year-old resident of La Puente
Alexis Lockwood, 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles
SUMMARY: On Monday, September 27, 2021 at approximately 6:46 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a theft in progress at 3100 Chino Hills Parkway. When deputies arrived, they attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, but the suspect vehicle fled the scene. Deputies pursued the suspect vehicle, which was occupied by three suspects. The suspects drove without due regard for public safety, threw evidence out of the window, and narrowly missed hitting vehicles as they drove on Carbon Canyon Road towards Orange County. The vehicle finally yield in the city of Brea. Deputies determined there were two separate burglaries at the incident location. During a search of the suspect vehicle, property, which belonged to the victims, was located. The suspects were identified as: 20-year-old resident of La Puente, Stephane Padilla Lechuga; 18-year-old resident of La Puente, Daniel Payan; and 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles, Alexis Lockwood. All three suspects were arrested and transported to West Valley Detention Center. The suspects were booked for felony evading, possession of a firearm, and vehicle burglary.
