The phone carrier that provides the Village of Prairie du Sac’s phone systems at the Village Hall, the Fire Department (non-emergency), and the Public Works/Utilities continues to experience significant technical difficulties with their inbound service.  The national telephone network outages that occurred in the past few days culminating with the long degradation of service yesterday was a coordinated attack.  Public news reports and status pages of many large national networks indicate they were impacted as well.  It appears that the attacks are continuing today, September 28, 2021.  If you need to contact the Village of Prairie du Sac, please email us at [email protected] or stop in at 335 Galena Street.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
