On Monday, September 27, 2021, at 03:24 AM, Redwood City Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Hudson Street and Redwood Avenue for a traffic violation.  The driver was identified as Janci Vasquezcarillo and the passenger as Jose Rodriguezhernandez.  While speaking with the driver, officers observed a reciprocating saw blade protruding from Vasquezcarillo’s jacket pocket.  Officers searched the vehicle and located an additional reciprocating saw blade, an automatic floor jack, a drill/impact gun, and an automotive catalytic converter with Toyota engravings that appeared to have been cut off at one end and unbolted from the other.

Rodriguezhernanadez and Vasquezcarillo were arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, possession of drug paraphernalia, and conspiracy.
