Reedsburg Area Medical Center is pleased to announce two special clinics for COVID-19 vaccines, additional doses and the Pfizer booster. These clinics will also offer the flu vaccine!

Unable to attend one of our special clinics? No problem! We are offering COVID-19 vaccines, additional doses and the Pfizer booster at RAMC Community and Viking Pharmacies. Advanced appointments preferred but walk-ins are welcomed.
Information about the booster shot –
Based on the recent CDC recommendations, the following populations should receive the Pfizer booster dose. Please note, this is available only to individuals who received the Pfizer vaccine series. For patients who received the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines, in the coming weeks CDC will be reviewing data to make additional recommendations for booster doses.
The following should receive a Pfizer booster dose:
- People 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer second dose,
- People aged 50–64 years with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer second dose,
- People aged 18–49 years with underlying medical conditions may receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer second dose, based on their individual benefits and risks, and
- People aged 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting may receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer second dose, based on their individual benefits and risks.
