The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... West central Rio Arriba County in north central New Mexico... East central San Juan County in northwestern New Mexico...

* Until 245 PM MDT.

* At 156 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southeast of Bloomfield, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Navajo Dam, Navajo Lake State Park and Turley. This includes Highway 64 between Mile Markers 70 and 97.

* AFFECTED AREAS: RIO ARRIBA, NM ... SAN JUAN, NM
