The Berkeley Police Department would like to notify the community of parking restrictions and road closures, associated with the football game at UC Berkeley’s California Memorial Stadium, on Saturday, October 2^nd, 2021. This is Cal’s Homecoming Game which starts at 2:30 p.m.

Restricted parking will be in effect in the following areas: (printable flyer)

Motorists should pay particular attention to the posted tow away signs in the restricted areas. A map of the tow away zones, enhanced and double fine zones is attached.  Please note, there is no 2-hour parking in the listed Residential Parking Permit zones without a resident permit on game days. Enforcement will begin at approximately 8 a.m. and remain in effect until approximately 11 p.m.

Vehicles will be towed to a temporary lot, located at Fulton Street and Bancroft Way (West of Edwards Stadium). If you discover your vehicle has been towed, please proceed to the lot to pick it up.

The following roads will be closed:

• North bound traffic on Piedmont Avenue at Bancroft Way (at approximately 12:30 pm)
• East bound traffic on Durant Avenue at College Avenue (at approximately 12:30 pm)
• North and East bound traffic on Piedmont Avenue at Channing Way (at approximately 12:30 pm)
• Access to the Panoramic Way and Dwight/Hillside neighborhoods will be limited to residents.
