October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness, members of the Berkeley Police Department will be showing our support by wearing Pink Patches and badges to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer. In addition to the pink uniform patches, the Berkeley Police Association is also selling commemorative/collectable pink patches and T-Shirts to the public. The patches are different in appearance to our uniform patches (containing a ribbon instead of a star). For more information about the Pink Patch Project, visit (https://pinkpatchproject.com/california/564-berkeley-police-department). For more information about how to receive your commemorative patches or T-Shirts, send an email to [email protected]. You can purchase the commemorative patches for $10 and T-Shirts for $20. The preferred payment method is cash or via check made payable to: Berkeley Police Association. You can also purchase patches or T-Shirts at the Front Counter of the police department (Monday-Friday, 8 am-2 pm). The proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Women’s Cancer Resource Center (2908 Ellsworth Street) in Berkeley.
