The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a
* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for... Southwestern Barry County in southwestern Michigan... Central Kalamazoo County in southwestern Michigan...
* Until 645 AM EDT Monday.
* At 1236 AM EDT, Slow moving showers and thunderstorms were occurring in the advisory area. The west side of Kalamazoo has seen locally over 1.5 inches of rain in less than an hour. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kalamazoo, Portage, Eastwood, Vicksburg, Parchment, Schoolcraft, Richland, Westwood, Comstock Northwest, Gull Lake, Comstock, Cooper, Oshtemo and Hickory Corners.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BARRY, MI ... KALAMAZOO, MI
