Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau is continuing its investigation into the shooting death of a thirty two year-old male Black adult.
Deputies from the Lancaster station responded to a gunshot victim call on Sunday, October 3, at approximately 9:32 P.M. on the 500 block of East Ave. J-5, in the city of Lancaster.
Upon their arrival, they discovered the victim inside the location suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Paramedics responded to the location and the victim was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies are canvasing the area for possible witnesses and video surveillance.
