FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Representatives will be in Green Brook on Tuesday, October 5

FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Representatives will be in Green Brook on Tuesday, October 5, leaving informational fliers. They will additionally be able to assist residents register for FEMA assistance and check status or make minor changes to applications for residents who have already applied for help. 
They can help with applications for repairs, short-term housing assistance and any other disaster aid not covered by insurance or other programs.  Applications are available for residents who suffered damage from IDA from stream flooding, as well as non-stream flooding, such as sump pump failures, etc.

DSA teams can easily be identified by their federal photo identifications and FEMA clothing. New Jersey residents are reminded to ask for official photo identification before sharing personal information. 

The teams are following CDC safety guidelines for COVID-19 including social distancing and use of protective equipment.
