FEMA will be sending a Disaster Survivor Assistance Team to Ho-Ho-Kus on Tuesday,  October 5, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  FEMA will be set up at the Borough Hall Complex in the Ambulance Building 55 Sycamore Ave ( corner of Warren & Sycamore), to assist local residents and businesses affected by Hurricane Ida.

All residents and businesses sustaining losses as a result of Hurricane Ida are eligible to apply for Federal disaster relief. Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster.

In addition, all residents and business owners can apply for disaster relief directly by visiting www.DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired. The toll-free telephone numbers are in operation from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
