Please join us in welcoming our newest police trainee Nicholas Steward. Nicholas is a local Lake County resident and graduate of Lower Lake High School. For seven years after high school, Nicholas served in the California National Guard including a tour overseas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Most recently Nicholas served in the security and forestry industries. Nicholas will now complete three months of training at the Lakeport Police Station before being assigned to attend a five month police academy and then four months of field training starting in January.
