* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for... Southwestern Blount County in central Alabama... East Central Walker County in central Alabama...
* Until 215 AM CDT.
* At 819 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sumiton, Dora, Warrior, Trafford, Hayden, County Line, Arkadelphia, Blount Springs, Quinton, Rickwood Caverns, Smoke Rise and Empire.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BLOUNT, AL ... WALKER, AL
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
